Perth & Kinross Council – Scone

Description of project

IRS Scotland Ltd were appointed as Principal Contractors under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 to deliver the Perth & Kinross Scone HEEP/ABS project on behalf of Perth and Kinross Council & funding partners SSE. The project involved the installation of an EWI Systems to 50 properties. All properties received a fabric upgrade including the installation of a new External Wall Insulation system , new Aluminium over sills and new rainwater goods.

This particular project took a little time to gain the sign up momentum as the residents were not overly familiar with External Wall Insulation and a few had reservations, however as soon as the project commenced and the owners realised the benefits of the work the sign ups were very quick allowing residents to take advantage of the scheme improving the levels of comfort for families to grow and prosper whilst offering a totally transformation to the building façades adding real value to the properties.
