Description of project

IRS Scotland Ltd were appointed as Principal Contractors under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 to deliver the Ancho Kilwinning Fabric Upgrade on behalf of Ancho housing association. The project involved a complete fabric upgrade to 50+ properties breathing new life into them including the removal of defective render, redundant chimneys and failing concrete canopies the properties were enhanced further with the installation of new cavity wall insulation.

All properties received a new Alumasc polymer render overcoat system along with new aluminium over sills which enhanced the properties giving them a new fresh clean look whilst protecting the external fabric from the harsh weather conditions on the beautiful Ayrshire cost.
